BSP : Pig Iron
The mass of pig shall be either 45 kg
having two notches or 22.5 kg having one notch, subject to mutual
agreement between the purchaser and manufacturer.

- Other elements such as Cr, Mo, Ni,
Ti, V etc. may be present in traces (total not exceeding 10%). The
contents of these elements shall not be used in classification of
pig iron.
Pig Iron is available in SAIL grade with
silicon content of 1 - 1.5%.
