Generally, the proposals requiring decisions are initiated at the appropriate level of the executives, depending upon the nature with regard to financial implication, urgency and importance of the matter. Normally, the proposals are initiated at the level of Assistant Manager/Deputy Manger/Manager. The approval is accorded by the executives at the level of DGM/GM/EDs/CEO, depending upon the Delegation of Powers. Matters which are beyond the powers delegated to CEO are referred to the Corporate office for obtaining the approval of Chairman / Board of Directors, as the case maybe.

Bhilai Steel Plant is focused on becoming a world-class producer of Iron & Steel Products and leader in Indian steel business.
